What We're Doing Right Now
1. Pilot Projects
Our pilot projects are designed to make a real impact by directly addressing SDG objectives such as quality education (SDG 4), decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), and reduced inequalities (SDG 10). Each project is carefully planned to be sustainable and to deliver measurable benefits to the communities we work with, ensuring that our efforts contribute to these global goals.
2. Growing Step by Step
As we learn from our pilot projects, we’ll expand our efforts in a way that continues to support the SDGs. By building partnerships with local governments, NGOs, businesses, and international organizations, we ensure that our growth is thoughtful and impactful, contributing to goals such as partnerships for the goals (SDG 17) and sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11).
Kicking Off with CISEGA Youth Seminars
Our first major initiative, the CISEGA Youth Seminars, is directly aligned with several SDGs. By focusing on leadership training, career guidance, and digital literacy, we’re empowering young people with quality education (SDG 4) and preparing them for decent work (SDG 8). These seminars are about more than just education—they’re about creating a foundation for long-term, sustainable growth and development across Africa.
Looking to the Future: Where We're Heading
Youth Conference: Our Next Big Move
After the seminars, we plan to organize a Youth Conference in Nigeria, which will contribute to SDG 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions) by fostering dialogue and collaboration among young leaders. This conference will be a platform for addressing critical issues, building networks, and creating solutions that align with the SDGs, particularly those focused on education, employment, and equality.
Expanding Across Africa
Our vision doesn’t stop in Nigeria. We plan to expand these conferences across Africa, contributing to SDG 10 (reduced inequalities) by ensuring that youth from different regions and backgrounds have the opportunity to participate. By building a continent-wide network of empowered young leaders, we’re working toward an Africa where sustainable development is achievable for all.
